Real bass players play bass. Open your mind, and your groove will follow.

Your're right! she was great! I copied all the TV shows as a kid. (I'm 58) I used to play along to The Cosby Show, Brady Bunch etc...I never knew it was her until the 80's. She was a pioneer. Perfect for a white suburban Canadian teen like me! I would see glimpses of the riots and fires across in Detroit and Chicago on the news. We didn't get much soul music on the radio. Too scary! Jamerson and James Brown were scary too. Thankfully that all changed for me Haha!

I think she has a great sound with that pick. Less obvious pick sound than Steve Swallow.

Entwistle didn't use a pick most of the time, he used one sometimes. Carol says roll off the treble w/ the tone control and you won't hear the pick clicks.

This is what she looks like now that she's older, why don't you check out some pictures of her when she was younger. No matter what she looks like or her sexual orientation is, this is one of the more educational bass videos I've ever seen, due to her great knowledge and talent, maybe you could dig that and respect her, since you know about the history of American music then you know she's played on a lot of good stuff that still lives on today.

So. You are a dull creature if that matters to your assesement of her talents. Shes a giant in the world of music. You are not.
