No, you are heating and cooling the air. The hot air has to go outside for it to cool. but even if you do that it will still be very weak.

You remind me of my son when he was young, very intelligent, curious and creative. Those attributes took him far in life, starting at a very young age. I can tell you one thing, all of the negative people out there will still be working at their local convenience store while you are at the top of your field. I'm guessing dry ice inside the jar and the fan is blowing out the cold air from the dry ice.

I actually made one of these but i used 4 fans on it and used a 5 gallon bucket with dry ice and a few chucks of foam from a disposable fridge. I worked really good. It worked so good that im using it every weekend when i go out camping. I put it inside the tent where my wife and 2 kids sleep. Works so good. These haters are just jealouse of your talent. They wish they had at least 1 ounce of your talent.

That's a very nice project! I am doing something very similar myself.

It's just really sad to see how some people are bashing him for moronic reasons. Jealousy is my best guess.

And form109, I just disagree on one thing. I wouldn't say he's "just a kid", he's quite a kid! If he keeps developing them like this, those skills are gonna get him a job some day.
