  • Thanks for showing. I used the X and after that just around the grip.

  • Good wraps my only concern is with the x stitch because the yori are designed so that you can trap and disarm but against a blade does the x stitch get damaged? It would suck to loose your wrapping in the middle of a conflict

  • nice tutorial i know this may sound dumb but how long dose the cord have to be ..?

  • Good job on the tutorial! It's personal preference, I guess, but I don't loop my cord around the yori to form an "X" at the intersection because the brand of sai I use is narrowly spaced for trapping bo and extra cord there would slow rolling action in my palms. Having cord there could also prevent me from locking the second sai into the first sai. I like the "stitch" idea. Do you stitch one sai "right-handed" and the other "left-handed?" I roll mine so that the both sai are ambidexterous.
