For once, I think Mitt was actually making a reasonable statement. When Mitt Romney says "I'm not concerned with the very poor..they have a safety net." what he means is "I am not going to devote my legislative time and energy to measures affecting the lives of the tails of the bell curve, when there exist things like welfare, food stamps, unemployment, housing credits, tax breaks, etc..." He could have worded it better but I think what he was trying to say is there are more pressing matters.

On a second commentary note.....I have a feeling the entire act of hers is completely staged. Has anyone watched The Hills? The backdrop well, was pulled away to reveal that the scene was nothing but a set up. Hopefully....this is the case with this show. I have great fear for the future should this be true life, televised.
