Hyundai Genesis Coupe. Hyundai has built a 306-horsepower, rear-wheel-drive coupe that promises Infiniti G37-like style and performance (if not the same level of amenities) for many thousands of dollars less. You're either excited at the prospect or you still can't get past the "Hyundai" thing. In addition to a 3.8-liter V6 that will propel the coupe to 60 mph in less than six seconds, the Genesis Coupe will offer a 2.0-liter turbo good for 212 horsepower. A high-performance SE trim will offer a track-tuned suspension, Brembo brakes and a limited-slip differential. Pricing isn't set but it's scheduled to arrive Spring 2009.

Look, I don't give a frogs fat ass where it was designed. Hyundai is a Korean company correct? I conduct business with one of the largest Korean companies in the world. The genesis coupe and genesis sedan Are copycats. they both have major, major design influences blatently lifted from infiniti, BMW and Mercedes benz. Hyundai approved and selected the 3.8 (3800) engine or 2.0 turbo engine for the new coupe. Success the gen coupe was made. Sent over seas such as japan, USA, Europe, and china in 2009. Sooooo u fail Designed in california and manufactured in Ulsan S. Korea. So yea Stfu. It was released in 2008 but it was covered up for teasing.

I'm talking about The genesis coupe and genesis sedan. The cars you speak of are all honda or Toyota wannabes at heart. However, nothing as blatant copy cats as the design cues stolen on the 'almighty' genesis from BMW, Infiniti, and MB.

Historically Hyundai copies designs. Granted they've had a few designs that seemed somewhat original. The more originial they are though the uglier they are.
