On this episode of BEYOND THE GRAVE, the FMF Crew led by series creator, and long time ghost tracker, Drew Wilson, investigate Halifax County Regional Rehabilitation Centre - an abandoned insane asylum that has been nicknamed "the Rehab" by the paranormal community. Abusive experiments are believed to have been conducted on the patients when the asylum originally opened in 1929, and most agree that such abuse would be the reason for paranormal activity at this location. The asylum was closed in 2002, and was later used as a power house for the producers of the Trailer Park Boys. Trespassing laws do apply, and Beyond The Grave TV does condone this type of activity. If you wish to visit this location please contact the HRM. Is the asylum truly haunted by the spirits of tormented patients...? The choice to believe is yours!

  • The long awaited and much anticipated fifth episode of BEYOND THE GRAVE arrives.

  • I been in that building a couple times, if any noises are heard, its likely just the building itself. The power is cut after all, so its gone to hell, plus its probably infested with rodents.

  • insane is a derogatory term. They prefer to be called " Mentally Hilarious" .

    Good job guys.

  • went here last summer, it wasn't that bad. walked all around and onto the roof, probably around midnight. nothing paranormal happened, the only scary things were our friends trying to creep us out. if you want to be scared in ns, go to the radar, that place was fucked.

  • we seen a hobo in there once scared the living shit outta us

  • I NEED TO KNOW THIS SONGGGGG!!!!

  • Check out bissett road rehab center.it's much better videos during the day, also it's only the church part that caught fire none of of rehab center was touched with a flame.there is a basement on the center but there is kno way it,one entrance in and the whole thing is flooded.this is the most unsafe standing structure I swear.wholes eveyware in floors n bird shit all over the place.as far as spirits go their is something in that place but u can't explain it you gota experience it for your self.

  • THE FIRE WAS NICE. Ffffffffffff.

  • yall should check out the black window church in Halifax

  • That thing sure burned down some fast, or at leas the part that did burn.

  • RIP INSANE ASYLUM

  • I live in Cole Harbour and the Rehab Centre is burning down as we speak. I'm listening to the Police Scanner and watching helecoptors transport water from Porter's Lake. Everything is nuts right now. Not sure if maybe the forest is on fire too.

  • I've been in there a few times over the past week doing some photowork... The results can be found by searching Matturalistic on Flickr.

As well, it is now scheduled to be torn down...

I heard romours of padded rooms, and a morgue, but I never came across either, and didn't even find the basement. I think it's been sealed now.

  • @Newminus . It was many things over the years , county home being one of them , the poor house being another ,when I worked there it housed people with untreatable mental illnesses who could not care for themselves . These people did not ask for their illnesses and should not be degraded because of them. It is narrow minded people that keep the phrase mental illness a forbidden one.

  • @Newminus Yeah, it was. I was there yesterday talking to a bunch of security guards.

  • I've been there for the past two days, and it's insaaane. So scary.

  • no man i was in there once. and three doors slammed on the bottom floor all at the same time. dont try and tell me it was a breeze. we were underground.

  • That place creeps the shit out of me. I refuse to do night shifts there :D

  • @Newminus i already went .. haha. alot of times actually.. that place is scary .. :\ and i didnt have to sneak in or anything either, the guard let me and my friends in :D

  • ive been in there planty of times and the only problem i had was dripping water and stepping in bird shit : /

  • this place is really fucked up, i live across the lake from it and i've been there. it's creepy being there and to even look at

  • as i was saying before i ran out of characters, miserable stuff by staff to patients, not to mention the jokes that went on in the morgue, that was on the first floor, just down the hall abit from the reception area, and off to the right into another little hall that led to the pick up area, also out there was the old incinerator where we burned all the garbage back thenthe padded cells were bad, you could hear them in there throwing themselves against the padding, still depresses me even now

  • i worked there in 1969, it was called the county home then. spring of seventy a red headed guy was killed by a black inmate down at the lake in back of the building, he pretended to be helping him from the water as he was smashing his hands with a rock as they clawed for something to grab onto. forget there names, but the redheaded guy had a nickname, Red.and yes it was an inane asylum, the joke at the time was you didn't have to be crazy to work there, but it sure helped. i seen some bad things

  • @lukifer321 your a idiot.

  • @oxashox It's not an amusement park!

  • Your full of crap , and it wasn't a insane asyllum .
