"Standing on the brakes" is a misnomer. Any aircraft that large has hydraulically actuated brakes, so standing on the brake action of the rudder pedals would change nothing. In all likelihood this aircraft...like all modern jet aircraft, has "auto-brakes" and for this purpose he has them set to "MAX". Toe action on the rudder pedals would release the brakes back to him, at which point he releases the brakes so he can back up using his TRs.

@dva511 Haha yeah I figured, I was just saying that it looked more normal than tactical.
-
@novsierra They call it tactical because as soon as the plane lands it back up unloads and takes off.
-
oh crap we missed the turnoff back up !!
-
@novsierra i'm sure if a 172 was painted gray, we would call it a tactical landing too :)

@novsierra Good question, approach is missing from the video, so it could be misleading.
