  • It seems like Walt's voice is slightly higher-pitched like normal. Am I the only one? Good scene nonetheless.

  • Brilliant scene. Perfectly illustrates the pent up frustration Walt feels at this point in his life. Shortchanged by the world and the carbon-based life forms within it, he identifies with Dr. Hall.

  • Walt feels short changed just like Dr Tracy from his previous job (with the guy that offers to pay his cancer treatment) who he believes has abused his skills , making him lots of money with an unfair return, which is why he turns down his cancer treatment offer

  • @cpjackson79

    aaah, yes, now i understand what you mean

  • @timen1986 Yeah, I was just observing from another point in the series. Season 3, I believe. Spoilers if you haven't seen these episodes yet. . .

    Walt's wife cheats on him with Ted Beneke simply by showing interest in him. Walt subsequently (and quite awkwardly) tries to cheat with Carmen and is shut down.

  • @cpjackson79

    Are you a guy? And that's the way you think about this? I'm sorry to burst your bubble but not all guys are going to cheat on their wives just like that, lol

  • When Walt tried to kiss Carmen (later in the series), it demonstrates how hard it is for a man to cheat when he's the one actually trying to. All a woman has to do is ask "Well, you ready?"

  • @flyforce16

    U r right, it makes him sounds gay :)

  • The only thing I learned from this video is that Carmen is hot. Hot carbon.

  • I wish my high school chemistry class was that small.

  • @flyforce16 If you see Bryan Cranston in interviews his voice is more like this. I think he started lowering his voice later on to show Walt's "transformation". More badass that way. :)

  • >You will never have Walt or Bryan Cranston as a teacher

    ;~;
