Yeah, so sad. Grew up visiting here, living about 5 miles W near Reels Corner. Moved away in '79, but visit at least once a year. Just passed here 2 days ago. If "thuncat" is right, even sadder that the old ship could have been saved...

i know the place well.
i use to go their with the fokes on trips to shawnee state park.
i just stopped by their a few week ago.
still sad.
wonder who took the light house that was left?
i got one of the last shots inside of the ship before it burned to the ground.
too bad it was already gutted by fire from squatters and that the owner would not sell to the Lincon Hwy group.
