  • OH YES! The dental fiends have done it to me- 13 mercury fillings and at 64 I now know why my hair fell out as a teen- in clumps-after my first gold tooth and mercury set up a current in my mouth! Young- my body adapted- but now old, my hair is thinning alot, sleeplessness, lost eyesight, the mercury removal will cost all my savings which I wanted to use to help my daughter with who has cancer- I went too regularly for dental care- and they drilled, filled and billed! Devils!

  • I do not like silver or amalgam fillings but this is a horrible interview. Its creating fear and making dentists out to be greedy unethical people. Amalgams served a purpose back in the day and now we have better and safer materials for patients to have in their mouth. But this interview creates fear and distrust of dental professionals. This topic could have been explored and given the general public a more educational viewpoint of mercury and safety concerns of silver or amalgam fillings

  • I have a lot of mercury fillings, but I am a University student with not that much money... How do you suppose I get rid of my fillings? Should I just wait until I get a job that has dental benefits (possibly 4 years) or should I just spend a few thousand getting them out right away?

I am mainly concerned with the effects the mercury might have on my brain. How harmful are the effects on the brain?

  • are there any substances to replace mercury amalga fillings or BPA plastic filler for teeth?
