In June, 2011, Minot, North Dakota, 12,000 of approx. 37,000 people were evacuated from their homes. Around the 25th of June, the Mouse River reached a record level, swallowing the valley where so many people lived. Today, this is what is left behind. Let it be known, we were misplaced and our homes were damaged or destroyed, but none of us lost our lives. We are strong.....North Dakota strong!
