Chael Sonnen - Does WWE belong in the UFC?

While his title had not seen the light of day prior to Wednesday, Sonnen and his bling-bling belt sure made up for lost time during today's "UFC on FOX: Evans vs. Davis" press conference.

"For those of you that can't see, this is the world championship title of which I took from Anderson Silva, and in this country possession is nine-tenths of the law," Sonnen said of his unofficial buckle. "Finders keepers, losers weepers, and if he wants it back, he knows where to find me."

Michael Bisping, who faces the self-proclaimed 185-pound king this weekend, quickly chimed in, "Yeah, I think you can get [that belt] on eBay for about $29.99."

When asked if Sonnen intended to walk down the aisle on Saturday with the strap wrapped around his waist, Sonnen avoided answering while providing a WWE-esque response.

"It's my belt, I slept with this thing last night," he shared. "You're lookin' at the reflection of perfection, the one that gets all your attention. You're lookin' at the man with the biggest arms, the man with the greatest charm, and the man in Chicago to do a lot of harm to a guy three doors down.

"I believe that I'm the true champion. This is a true UFC belt, this was Anderson Silva's belt. I took his belt like a gangster in the night. I walked in and took it like a welcher on a football bet. If he wants his belt back, he can come and get it."

When a fan posed a question to Phil Davis, Uncle Chael couldn't help but interrupt after hearing his name involved in the inquiry.

"I apologize for chiming in," Sonnen said. "Were you talking to the world's toughest man or did that get referred down to Mr. Davis, because I'm not sure. Maybe I can ask you a question, maybe I can ask three of Michael Bisping. First, whatcha gonna do when you know who, how you gonna deal with the man of steel, how will you react to Sonnen's attack?

"Tune in on the 28th, 8PM Eastern time and we will find out who the real world champion is."

They're called Promos, the WWE is not fake, although it is predetermined, Chael likes the WWE, he'd almost have too, the point is, It's not WWE, it's pro wrestling, he's funny. People can be funny in boxing, it's a sport, it's not a matter of life and death, and Chael can do it if he wants.

Look, I'm Brazilian and I really dont mind Chael's approach when he is doing his WWE performance in stage.. I actually am a Sonnen Supporter.

He uses the thrash talk to get more viewers and supporters.. and I think that is a genious way to increase the sports popularity.

i personally see chael as a silly over the top character which can be a good and a bad thing. he is entertaining but very fake and sometimes wish he would show his real side. but then again he was a whiny bitch before he went the wwe route so who knows if that would be better or not. all i know is he makes me laugh from time to time but for the most part i dont care for him when he not in a cage. i'd rather listen to a guy like nick diaz who's genuinely interesting as fuck.
