Peavey Ultra Plus - Metal

This is a demo of the sometimes-forgotten Peavey Ultra Plus amp, which sounds alot like but came before the mighty 5150. NO boost was used.

@bmxer5170 Oh man I don't remember. But if you pause the beginning of the video, those are the settings that were used. I do remember it was set on 'loose' though.

@viva360 Pretty sure it was bass-6 mid-5 treble-4 on the 'loose' setting.

Hell yea awesom man amp sounds great! Like your guitar i want one, i have the exacte same thing but a v but it doesn't have that st sign on the headstock.

I've had my Peavey Ultra Plus for about 10 years. I've recently been running the Boss Metal Core ML-2 directly in. The key to making this amp scream is to run a BBE Sonic Maximizer and a graphic eq through the effects loop. I replaced it with Mesa Boogie Triple Rectifier. The Boogie, has some serious gain however. The Ultra Plus has just the right amount.
