It wasn't difficult to get the job, no. I had experience as a banquet server and so I became a junior waiter on the ship. I suppose like any job it depends on what you're going for and the availability of the job. Waiters came and went a lot on the ship, so if that's what you're going for I'm sure you'll get it. I wore a suit and tie to my interview, although the other 20 or so people had just on shorts or jeans, but it can't hurt. Just show them how enthusiastic you are, I can tell you are!

@ozzwego26... i am interviewing to work on this ship on tuesday at a job fair in long beach.. is it pretty hard to get the job? do you have any suggestions o advice? I really really want this job.

I used to work on the ship, just find the Norwegian Cruise Line America website, apply online, then you'll go to a group interview. It might be kinda of far away, I live in Syracuse NY and I had to go to NYC, about 5 hours away. i got the job but still didn't get to Hawaii for another 6 months. This was 3 years ago that I went through process, it may have changed I really don't know. It was a good experience, but I didn't take advantage of it as well as I should have. Hope you get there!

What is the procedure of applying for a job on Pride of America? I would love to work on a cruise liner but not finding enough information without having to fork out money to 'cruise liner recruiters' online.
