One important thing about stunts like this is you ALWAYS want it to be actor triggered. If it's timed, you risk messing up your routine and getting hit by a rouge stick or five. If you've got a techie pressing buttons, he needs to be paying attention to time it right. If it's pressure plates, the actor has to make a deliberate motion to step on each one. It turns into similar choreography to a dance.

  • this is really cool!

  • Oh, I get it now. The black things on the floor are triggers. I thought you just had to time it right and not get hit by them:)

I believe they're hard rubber. They come up with a lot of force, so it'll hurt like hell if you get whacked by them. I'd imagine a crotch shot would be.........devastating.

Awesome! When I was a kid I always wanted to be on that show, but today I'm not quite strong enough to do some of those stunts. I've still done a few stunts for plays I've been in (nothing like being accidentally tossed headfirst over a table and managing to play it off without injury!), but never any formal training and certainly nothing like this!

  • @wlenser Verry Cool. O always wondered though where to find the golden Idol Of stunt Training.

  • wait, you work at this attraction? What do you do? You one of the stuntmen, technical crew, or you one of the ushers?

  • they have poop on them

  • I always wondered, what're those things made of? I mean, would they hurt if you overshot or something and one of them hit you?
