In the 1990's Mountain Dew launched a campaign featuring extreme sport athletes competing and shouting "Do the Dew" during their sport. The UVU Review rated drinking Mountain Dew as the #2 sign that you are at UVU and not BYU. Pepsi (Mountain Dew) is a major sponsor of UVU Athletics, thus, the "Do the Dew @ UVU" video contest was born. This marketing campaign to promote Pepsi (Mountain Dew) and UVU Athletics on campus has been a huge success mostly because of the participants in the video contest.
HOW WINNERS ARE DETERMINED:
50% will be based on total number of hits on each video and 50% will be based on judging by industry professionals.
