Just remembered what a top song this is after seeing it on the Sony Centre adverts in the UK this week (they use the chorus)

@robmacgillivray - Thanks for the info Rob, it's always nice to find out what happened behind the scenes. I was the 'right' age when I saw this clip and it's always been lodged in my childhood memory, just how colourful and unusual it was. It's amazing to have this stuff so available on the internet these days, and the ability of the people involved to comment on it!

Heard them on Radio 1 interview which said they were the future of pop music. Didn't quite work out that way but a great tune nevertheless. Elizabeth is such a sexy madonna clone!

@MyNameIsBiff Wonderful comment! The popcorn girl is Rebecca Lacey, she is rather wonderful UK actress and still working (in much better stuff, she did this as a favour). She is the godmother of my children. The 'sonic boom boy' himself, who turns into a rocket, is my brother-in-law, Pete. He hated the whole experience and we would never have used him, but the lead singer of the band insisted we use him after she saw him doing the cel painting of the animation in the office.
