Ken Schram, Democrat, co-host on "The Commentators," on KOMO 1000 Newsradio and local news commentator, awarded 8th district
congressional candidate Darcy Burner with a "Schrammie" for her "flat out
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ISkG7W3v3q8 " lie about her "economics
degree" from Harvard...her Harvard Hoax.

In explaining the award, Schram writes in "A Matter of Degrees":

"Just because someone gets an Ivy League education doesn't guarantee they
won't go out and do something really stupid. So, would Darcy Burner put that
cap and gown back in the closet and come on down? ....In short, Darcy
fudged, fibbed, exaggerated, embellished, or if you prefer, flat out lied, about her Harvard degree in economics. Though I'm sure she was telling the
truth about how much she loves making things up. ...Wouldn't you know: For
some reason, Darcy gets a little testy when challenged about her fictitious
degree, saying even bringing the matter up is nothing but dirty politics."
