I just watched this movie for the first time, and It gave me diabetes. Its too sweet <3 Such a beautiful movie. All the happy old people made me feel really warm and fuzzy inside :3

Amazing and very beautiful movie. Visual effects were brilliant for that time, no wonder the movie won the Oscar. The 80's had some kind and sweet Sci-Fi films - E.T.: The Extra-Terrestrial, Flight of the Navigator and Cocoon of course. I like the fact that it were calm films - not action wars like in Star Wars or scary monsters like in Alien films. All the actors/actresses did a brilliant job.
