It is possible to "fish" the larvae of tiger beetles out of their burrows. The tiger beetle larvae featured in this footage are Cicindela aurulenta.

  • Back in my day (feel old saying that) we use to use grass on the playground to fish these things out. and of course as 5th grade boys would do we made them fight to the death >.> we were evil.

    Amazing to seem them in action though XP
