.. that is a great ride Luke - loved the viaduct section especially ..

Super cool!!

@eluko79 You got it right. It's pretty straightforward. US-59 shares the route with I-229 for a couple miles.

Another cool video, keep up the good work!!!

Nice! You used a bit of motion blur, right? And I suppose it is not interlaced but progressive, or am I wrong?

@hanzi169 Something like that. I usually use the "disable resample" option to remove the motion blur, but for this one I thought I'd leave it in.

Small corrections... Northbound on I-229, the exit is for US 36 not US 59. Coming southbound on I-229, It is US 59 north not south. Otherwise a great video! I love going over the I-229 viaduct. It travels right by the Missouri River.

@simplykristib The shield signs on the top left actually aren't indicating exits, but the road you're about to enter. Unless I misread something....

A double-decked viaduct in St. Joseph of all places? I guess I wasn't expecting that at all, mainly because after previewing (boring) I-29 on Streetview, I just assumed I-229 was more of the same. It seems like the immediate geography bordering the river is hillier than what lies inland, a few miles to the east.
Good stuff, I really enjoyed the retro song you choose, too. Thumbs up!

@FreewayBrent Thanks Brent! It was a nice surprise when I discovered it myself while making the plans. As for I-29, it was actually kind of scenic once you head north out of town. The views of the Missouri river valley were pretty cool.
