using the "Oogway ascends" motif through out most of the soundtracks was a fucking great idea. damn original stuff there.

@JACK8LD I am disappointed as well that Hans and Powell didn't create a new theme for this, I mean even Steve Jablonsky, a far inferior composer in my book, had 3-4 themes for Transformers.

You're fine to hold your opinion, don't get me wrong, but that theme is what we relate to, it's who the movie is - to know the film again, we must hear that music. It's what made us cry in the original, what we cheered for - we aren't crying nor cheering for anything else are we? It's Kung Fu Panda, but more of it! ^^

@unbrokenjack You're right, but I didn't actually mean to change the theme, I love it and it must stay for the entire series...I'm saying why didn't they create something new on top of this. And after listening to the whole thing and the film, it turns out they actually did, at the ending, a new melody for [spoilers] Po's father and the panda clan. I guess we'll be hearing a lot of that in 3.

Enjoyable soundtrack but I still prefer 'How to Train Your Dragon'.

@Wyzzkyd I think Hans has done a great job once again. Personally I prefer this continuation from Kung Fu Panda 1 as the two are of one entire whole legend. it structurally makes a lot more sense to me. 3-4 themes for Transformers make sense as well however because it is 'Transformers'! Different genres I guess are hard to be compared to one another.

@JACK8LD The opening scene has a special tortoise fishing on the moon, and this is the first track, so of course they're going to integrate "Oogay's Ascends" into the track. Pandarific blend of noodles & pure Awsomeness.
