@Flipstazzz funny. i assumed i liked the habs was cuz i'm a montrealer and it's my home team. and i'm pretty sure i'd love them even if they had no cups.

besides, same can be said for anything. only reason love the penguins is cuz of Crosby. only reason people like you is because of something about you. that's the thing Flips, to like something, a reason has to be there for it. i'm sure there are people who are fans because the habs have the most cups. well, sux to be them

@kidkappa04 I don't really consider Quebecers Canadians since they're more into European ways, but still there's no need more discrimination , besides many players in the NHL are born in Quebec for instincts Roberto Luongo was born in Montreal, and many more like Pascal Dupius etc.

And the Canadiens didn't have injuries when you swept them? Markov, Tanguay, Lang? Getting beat in round 2 in 7 games is better then getting swept in the first, i agree. but whats pathetic, is you didn't win a cup since '72. You can't afford losing anymore or else you'l become like the leafs. No cup since '67 and won't get one anytime soon. With 24 stanley cups, I think Montreal can afford losing.

Bruins fans like Bruins players are tough. We had many injured players vs Carolina and did well to take it to 7 games. That's better than getting swept in the first round. Playoffs can be a crap shoot. Not many people thought Pittsburgh would win it all last year. There are always surprises.

I love when Bruins fans talk tough. As a Habs fan, I'm not happy with how last season ended. But are you? You lost to the Hurricanes in 7 games (a team that was swept in the next round), an utter disappointment, considering how good your team was. In fact, this is the pattern with the Bruins for the past 30 some odd years: great play in one or two rounds of the playoffs, then they collapse. No cups since '72. Can't be easy.
