Tony, thank you for your comment on the city that became my 2nd home (50+ trips in from 1991 to 1997) and, before the danned Fundamentalist's moved in, it still WAS an amazing city even though the 'Central Banking Area, "The Green Line" or no-mans-land was totally trashed, the rest of the city functioned as well as many 3rd World Countries and Westerners could still go in, albeit with 10+ local bodyguards who I KNOW would have died for me to save my lfe. Amazing Place :)
