The republicans will NEVER cooperate. They just want you gone. There is no point to trying to work with someone on bettering American when they have no desire to do so.
It sounds good on paper and in speeches, but will never work. The hate mongers take advantage of the people's anger at Bush and turn it against any sort of production or good legislation.

Sure unemployment has soared by nearly 4% since Barack usurped the White House, but it's really the fault of those mean, minority party Republicans for not being "bipartisan" (whatever that means) enough.
There is no tax reduction Obama can offer that will spare small business owners from the CO2 regulation chopping block.
