All that money just to get shot in the head ^^

Yes, it is indeed compatible, but it will not work as well as DX11 specific cards. Much like how back then, some of the 8 series cards were "DX10 READY"

QFT. I usually wait for prices to come down to get my upgrades. I recently bought 2 gtx260's and trying them in SLI, however im already beginning to regret my purchase as dx11 is just around the corner =/

SLI is a new technology and it still doesn't work 100% perfect. I payed $650 for a 8800GTX at the card's launch and bought another for $250 later on. Now $900 later, I have the performance of a $280 card (GTX 280). SLI is marketing hype and a reason for Software corporations to force hardware upgrades on consumers (ex. DX10).

it's not the size that count , you can have a 40" and have the res of 1440x900 . i have a 24" 1920x1200 . 1650x1050 is not too bad , just not worth tri sli 8800 ultra .
Does that say "samsung"? what size?
