  • I was forced to stop taking him seriously when he suggested that British people were pulling their own teeth over the 'horrible' NHS.

And people will buy that bullshit, too.

  • We should ban the word "Universal"

  • @joe035 lol okay say what u like.

  • @Dtwaine I'm for healthcare reform, been paying ferrari prices for shitty coverage for years. The truth is neither Establishment Republicans or Democrats give a shit about you & me as if they did they wouldn't have bargained with HMO's & catered to Pharma. Single payer would have been better then the shit they passed, but then we would have another inept govt entity. Best solution no more govt or Corporate HC plans we all buy as Individuals & HMO's adhere to antitrust laws. Medicare 4 poor!!

  • @joe035 Yea only for ppl who can afford it honey.

  • @carlousmagnus I'm for HC reform just not the shit the dems passed. Thanks for providing this info there is more conflicting info then what there should be online. You would think if either party was serious they would have started with making hmo's adhere to anti-trust laws.

  • Some of his shit is provably untrue at one point or another

  • Wrong again John. The ACE Inhibitors were first discovered in Brazil and developed in Britain before the US entered the game. Coronary bypass surgery was first performed in the US but there were significant contributions from Argentina and Russia. Hip replacement involved the Burmese. Knee replacement was pioneered by a Brit (L.G.P. Shiers).

  • Stossel talking about waiting a year in Britain. That's for elective surgery or treatment. Again sheer confusion to mix that in with serious conditions that need immediate attention.
