Multiple people have posted this in different forms, but this is a shortened version of the NBC broadcast that I couldn't find on YouTube so far. He hits the shot in game 4 vs. the Sacramento Kings, earning the 100-99 win at home for the Los Angeles Lakers and eventually their third straight NBA title. Entertainment purposes only, internet download, fair quality, no gain from this. Marv Albert on the call.

  • Kings miss half their FT attempts in a home G7, watch key players choke/fire airballs in the 4th and OT, and STILL their fans bitch that it was rigged. Pathetic.

  • @lestat83bv sacramento outplayed the lakers almost the entire series. dont get me wrong LA played well too. but it was the garbage officiating that ruined it. i personally don't think it was fixed, i think it was just plain old fashioned incompetence by the officials. which in my opinion is even worse than a fix.

  • the Sacramento Kings franchise went completely DOWN HILL after this, Robert Horry almost single handedly shut this organization down....the Kings havn't been the same since

  • WILL SMITH

  • @effie23 I was there too, it was crazy, You can't even hear Marv Albert during the replay, he is talking but the crowd is too loud.

  • This changed the whole series...that was the Kings chance when they were better than the Lakers, after that LA just became too much for them.

  • big shot rob.

  • Chills through my body.

  • @jamaal1911 You're on crack, like every other Laker-Hater/Queens-Fan. That theory was shot down by analysts of the game about 4 years ago. Donaghy never was a ref in the series, he was just trying to start up muck, because he was caught cheating and his officiating career was over.

The series was great, sure there were some unfair wins for both teams: Game 6 for the Lakers, Game 5 & 3 for the Kings, but to a losing franchise, any loss is an unfair loss.

  • @ErniePaulGeorge this series was fixed
