This morning, at 7 AM my wife called me to tell say the CATS were back.
As we are now on DST, there was not enough light to take pictures.
I had the camera out so I grabbed it, put it in VIDEO mode and shot away.
What you will see is a female with her three yearlings.
Many of us in the area are concerned, for the kids and pets to be out.
Just this morning, someone reported that a mountain lion had taken down a deer.
We do live in the country, Palmer Divide, so this is their habitat.

  • that is so rare and amazing to see these elusive creatures.. especially with kittens.. and don't worry as long as there are deer in the area the cougars literally won't go after anything else

  • @thewildview - so right - we have not seen them since.

they did hit a deer during the night.

Colorado Dept of Wildlife has put radio transmitters on these beauties and they roam over 200 miles.

From Cheyenne down to Colorado Springs.

    Thanks for the positive comment.

  • Mr. Garcia, great video. Those are great shots. Make sure you and Dr. Garcia stay safe :) Also tell her hi from me.

This reminds me when that black bear was in my grandma's yard back when the Hayman fire was spreading close.

  • @JLaw1443 Thanks Jordan - I will make sure the red car is protected from these cats so that you can sometime enjoy the ride!
