I finished a small plugin for my software, so now I can receive data from the "No Limits rollercoaster" too.
Here is the results of the first test run.
I didn't spent more than 20 minutes in tuning the parameters of the software. Imagine that if you want to have perfect results with a big scale platform, the tuning will take some days...

  • incredible work! man you did this all on your own?? awesome 5 stars.

  • tnx :)

  • do u think that its possible to make it full scale for the dof

  • I already have started to build it :)

  • can u tell me how to make one pleaseeeeeeeeee

  • It's not that easy as it looks. You need very fast and powerful actuators in order to get enough acceleration. So at first you need about 15-25.000€ for these only, without the controllers. If you don't have power and speed then it doesn't worth to build. (this is my opinion)

  • lol its a model.

  • how much it costs? I want it in my computer!

  • what kind of actuator did you use on your racing?? can you tell me how much do i expect to spend?? my limit is 8 grand. please tell me. thanks

  • Too bad you cant simulate gravity! or fear!

  • Hey planmix. I think you have the Heave axis backwards. When you go down a hill, the inertia pulls you out of your seat (platform should heave downward), and when you go up a hill, it pushes you down in your seat (seat should heave upwards).

At least thats how I mapped it in my 6DOF. Bottom line is there is never enough heave to make it right. Although I have a plan for a 5 foot scissor lift next year.

  • verry nice how did you do this?

could you please explane some details about the software ?

  • Whats wrong with hydraulics?

  • i know its not easy but i need to try something new
