This is actually a good point because look at what happened to the fellows who protested against the fox hunt ban, they caused no trouble and alot got battered for no reason and these were country people, not thugs.

the thing about the fox hunt ban protestors was that they didnt realise the difference between met coppers and shire coppers, you dont negotiate with the met - they tell you you aint going somewhere then you aint - push it and you will be "spoken to " not like with the shire coppers who are too few in numbers to police the same way

I agree with Marxist theory. To have an effect and change society you must become part of the system and change things slowly......

True, I like horses and London. But living in California, you just don't see protests like this with cops on horseback, anarchists breaking windows and tearing stuff up - very interesting to us.
