I know right? I never noticed that until I watched it this time...

I've had a couple of really unromantic proposals too in my time. Everyone says you're a prissy jerk for being disappointed with how a guy proposes, but as far as I'm concerned, it's a litmus test for whether or not you should actually marry him. If he's not willing to put any effort into GETTING you to marry him, he's also probably not going to put any effort into your marriage.
