A Florida Architect and his German birth family finally find each other after a sad parting 46 years ago. Watch James Garritani reunite with his Mother, and meet his 4 sisters and nephew for the first time in Orlando Florida. They could speak no English, and James could speak no German....but the message of JOY is evident thru the body language in this video.

"Many many thanks to Angela Shelley for bringing us all together again. The hole in our hearts has been filled with such joy and happiness with this reunion. Angela is our guardian angel!" JAG

  • Just found out I was adopted. Watching this is like a kick in the nuts.

  • I am reuniting with my daughter in 2 weeks time last time I saw her she was9, now she is 33 with my 2 grandsons, ,,she is in the UK and I am in Australia,, am going home for good to be a mother and nanna,,,,I cant ever describe my emotions,,she is so perfect, and she wanted me after I left her because at the time I was damaged and thought she would be better off with her father,,,now I wonder ,,she is a social worker,,happy married,,,I am so lucky to have her in my life,,,,

  • I miss my mom :(

  • God bless Angela Shelley. Her efforts have reunited many of the babies/children adopted from German mothers so long ago. I know for I am one of those babies who have been reunited! ~Paularmj

  • Even though the languages are different, the love is the same. Wonderful and congrats!

  • She might have given him up for adoption.

  • Everyone should have one.

  • Well I am sorry to hear that. It's was good that your Dad was able to pick up the pieces. My dad is very special too. :)

  • Really? Not I my case, giving birth doesn't mean shit. It's what kind of parent you are afterward. My 'mother' is a douchebag. Dad had to pick up the pieces.
