  • is it good for my Piano cover recording?

  • @BNROEC Yeah, it would work fine for that, although if you're just recording the piano, you might be better off with a regular handheld mic on a stand and just plugging it in to the camera. This mic would work fine though, and be more useful for other things as well.

  • @vandrewlongstrider what is that regular handheld mic on a stand? can you give me some brands and links of that product ? :D c

  • I have put a link and picture of the mic I would probably use if I were going to record song covers and wanted something good but not too expensive in the link in this videos description. The mic I'm talking about is the 3rd one down, and I also included the stand you could use for it.

  • @vandrewlongstrider

You wouldn't happen to be able to test this mic on an NEX-7 would you?

  • @Matadurr This mic will work with any camera that has an audio input, which the NEX 7 does. As long as the accessory shoe is the standard SONY one, which it looks like to me, it should mount on top of the camera fine too.

  • canons t3 mono mic sounds better than the a33 stereo mics lol :D

  • @vandrewlongstrider

cool. For the time being though I figure I might as well make use of my campuses recording capabilities, and just try splicing the video and audio in iMovie or something. Thanks for the info.

  • @TheTaroTalkTime glad I could help

  • Wow thanks man
