  • sandblasting is good way to remove rust, but it reforms the metal :(

  • @suharinos I agree, so steps are taken to avoid this by selecting the correct medium, the correct blast nozzle and most important the correct blasting pressure. And a big plus is making sure that the operative is experienced and knows what he's doing.

  • If you sandblasted chrome, would it scratch it up?

  • @rosomak81 To price a job involves taking on board location, amount and type of plant and equipment required (depends on size and height including scaffold if buiding), accessability, Item to be blasted, type of medium and quantity, public safety and protective prep work and also time required to execute and complete works and clean up.
