@sweetfly66 I don't think that statement applies to any one brand. I think the reality is, for the longest time DW kits were only available from them directly or through local vendors who ordered them, so they were expensive. Most touring musicians who play recklessly (which isn't meant to be taken as an insult) aren't going to pay 2k for a kit. Every notable company makes a little of everything. The rest is up to the musician.
