@docco22 it's about 20mins from Edinburgh city centre, and the campus is lovely. so you sir are wrong. yes the SU is a bit poor, but it's alright, but you are only like half an hour from the nightlife of the city.

heres some good advice..
wanna see how good a uni is - go to an open day and write down the questions you wanna ask beforehand, if the university peeps dont like your questions or treat you like crap, dont go there...
Im definitely going to heriot watt, but for biochemistry or microbiology i dinnae ken !

Heriot watt uni is shit. Its in the middle of nowhere and looks like a prison. Its student union is the worst - small, boring and slow. But the worst thing about HW is that there are no girls. Seriously its like 70% 30%.
