the war isnt about any of the reasons you stated. its about focusing the terrorists attention away from people who can barely defend themselves (our civilians) to people who can defintely defend themselves and even take the fight to the terrorists (our soldiers).

I love this country, but one third of the homeless people here are veterans. We wear pretty yellow ribbons that say support our troops while giving only dirty looks to their outstretched hands. You wanna support our troops? Bring them home, and hold them tight when they get here

started out good, but you seem to knowingly miss/ignore the point, which is fuck politics. a soldiers in the book black hawk down was quoted saying

"Once the first bullet goes past your head, politics and all that shit goes right out the window." that is what this movie is about.

"unhealthy worrship of soliders"? really dude? thats pretty dickish.

"they cant act honorably for an unhonorable cause?" their cause is to defend each other, thats very honorable.
