  • Sir, what is your age, because you've got some wisdom in your head.

  • Makes sense homie

  • Ok I see now.. thanks for the info

  • Thanks!!!!!!

  • man about 75% of ppl trying to make money off beats are people wanting to be music producers while showing no effort to gain fundamental knowledge about actual music and just use cracked bullshit software and make beats that have the same dumb synth and sound like things that soulja boy would throw away. And they have the nerve to wonder why they aren't making money off of it.

  • Im selling beats for $150 for each exclusive and $25 for leases.

it's a bit low but i never sold 1 but ye i don't have any equipment.

but i make beats with only a mouse and keyboard.

people say it sounds like it's made in a professional studio.

    So...

  • Respect

  • @maltcus I would've ever expected. It doesnt give me a lush life. But i love what I do, and it helps me out. So its peace. I try not to hustle instrumentals, but rather build a fan base around the guys I work with because if they get heard, I GET HEARD. And vice versa. Rappers are always checkin out competition. Same as us producers. But for real, your name is all that matters these days. That's truth. Everyone want a free beat cuz "they bout to blow up" Peace and love from Minneapolis.

  • @maltcus I agree with you.I was at this music festival yesterday. I was passin out free demos and this dude was tryin to hustle his mixtape for 5 dollars. I talked to the ppl he was hustlin. I said "Have you ever heard of Enesci? Have you ever heard of Stormy Knight?" they replied NO. I said would you pay 5 dollars for their tape? NO. You have to take hits. To promote your beats to artists, you need to build a fan base around who you DO work with. My beats pay my rent, which is more than(Cont.)

  • I have seen your videos from time time for a little while now. You speaking some real. I just did a video on the matter selling/leasing beats for $20 & $25. TO be honest a lot of cats are not making money at that price either. The value of a hot beat is nothing now. How popular your name is what sells. If you have no name it is hard to sell beats no matter how hot it is. U might sell some but, to make a living? Naw.
