Thats the roof flap. As with any racing we use all the safety gear and follow all the rules. 3" between helmet and roll bar as well as Fire Proof underwear. From what I saw, Gary's rear tire jumped over the other cars fron tire, although the nerf bars are 100% legal, we are going to extend them so the rear tire does not stick out so much.

Should also mention I think the seat, helmet strap, and collar, prevented me from being soar or injury.

Arms stayed in...I do have restraints, though I don't think they came into play as I never let go of the wheel. I think chicken wire on the side windows would be better than the arm restraints as they often are too loose especially in such a small car. Probably the biggest danger was the fuel tank being upside down...Interestingly my engine stayed running I even tried to drive it after they flipped me back :)
I was there, im in the video on the other side of the track next to the flaggers stand. I race briggs jr. at this track and remember seeing you flip. Glad to see that you were alright

Yeah not a scratch, hopefully we'll make it back there soon. We've been running aphalt in Poughkipsee.

thats cool! Yeah definatly want to see ya back there. I accully won the briggs jr. 25 lap feature in a photo finish. See if you can do the same!
