what could we expect from a person who says "YANKEES ARE THE BEST", I like the pumpkins but Iggy is the law.

woh woh woh... the name insults truly hurt.. lol not really because i know my name is quite lame..but
iggy is completely wrong when he basically says that all the pumpkins do i jam on their instruments.. it makes no since to even say what he said.. especially since Iggy pop hasn't had a decent album in over a decade.. he thinks he is so musically superior when he is no where close to the pumpkins.. who need i remind you.. basically created their own genre of music..

well, I accept Iggy shouldn't have said that, 'cause the pumpkins are freakin' good, but I think Iggy's done always great things, his last work is really interesting, he's far from being trash as you said.

im glad we have reached common ground.. and i respect ur musical taste lol.. yes iggy has done some great things i must admit.. i was just a wee bit annoyed when he said what he said..

Great Album! A total change in direction but still totally Iggy.

no offense dude but billy corgan sounds like he sings through his nasal cavity, he looks like mr cleans younger brother who got pansed in gym class in the locker room lol.

iggy has left more talent in a bowel movement than in all the collected works of the smashin pumkins

just because he doesn't sing like the jonas brothers doesn't mean he isnt musically talented..
he says all they are is a bunch of idiot thugs with guitars.. which makes no since.. billy corgan has written brilliant music.. Soma.. Luna (simple but beautiful) rhinocerous.. and many more.. iggy pop has no idea what he is talking about.. maybe i could see it if he had only listened to gish.. then yes that is more banging on guitars... but no mellon collie or any of their other albums..

although i dissagree with you on the merits of Billy Corgan's lyrical writing ability, and the ability of Iggy pop to speak coherently on issues he feels strongly about, I've not found any album billy has sung on worth the vinyl, plastic or silicon it was recorded onto. although i will concede if u were able to mute the vocals of a smashing pumpkins album, it would be more tolerable than any disney contract recording artist's album.
