I did something similar to this today. My achilles hit the left standard and i landed on the ground and got all scraped up. But got right back up and cleared 5'6''. :p

that bar was so high. jk. dude if the bar goes to your chest then i think that you should be able to clear it. i mean i'm 5'10 and i cleared 6'4. i'm just saying.

this is far from what can happen in high jump if ur not completely prepared and confident, we had a bigger accident where the kid hit the Standard (thats what the technical term is for the metal stand) and he broke his Femur, just be careful high jumpers!
