plougasnous,

tejano and mexican accordionists gave polka a unique flavor. they get criticized, just like mariachi and banda does vs. orchestra music. u can't say one is better than the other!! WE added the drums!! WE added the sax!! WE did conjunto, banda, and mariachi style together BEFORE the accordion was played with a symphony in europe. just check the history. this music is only a part of our great mexican, tex-mex and american culture!!

damn this is how a musician makes his name. he carves his own style, never emulating others. wish they would be that way today but on radio, everyone sounds the same. guys make ur own name ok. joel guzman i have seen him and he is like no one else, no tony de la rosa, ruben naranjo, angel flores, not anyone. he has his own style and i love it
