Katie left soon after the blue. The one just before her depature was very NY-esque, remniscient of the NASDAQ ticker on Time Square. The current one sorts of teases us non-HDTV viewers with multilateral line at the bottom, but to be honest, the one which the "TODAY" title seemed to be coming out of the heavens should've remained until today.
