Alex has his first experience with firing a shotgun. Sport loads causing jams but Alex clears them like a pro. Peel your kids away from the shoot em up video games that program them to disconnect from the brutality that is depicted and teach them how to do things in the real world. Due to all the time he spends playing Call Of Duty, he needed very little instruction other than safe handling, they don't teach safe handling on Call Of Duty. Video Games like COD are the greatest recruiting tool the US Military will ever have, but they don't teach the grave responsibility of handling firearms, people suffer or die painfully when they are shot, and there is no "respawn" in real life.

It jammed because he was not shouldering it, the recoil needs to be reverse for proper cycling. Which is not possible when not shouldered.
