Vietnam Memorial Wall (DC) Defaced Sept 7-8, 2007: Part 1

How can anyone show disrespect for men who died in the service of our country? Were they taught this in school? Did they learn this from their parents, friends or watching tv? I don't understand it.

So sad. I am saddened and disgusted.

Name 'em and hang 'em

I am not a Vietnam Veteran ... but I've known a good number. Soldiers, Sailors, Marines ... they are good men for the most part. I know they are outraged by this evil act, just as I am. It's not politics, it's a sense of respect and honor held for our battle buddies who died 'over there', wherever 'there' is. I have buried friends from OIF.

Whoever did this should be shot.

i was at the Vietnam memorial, it is really powerful and very sad... how can anyone do this??

Not to forget, most of the soldiers represented here were drafted and gave their lives for you.
This is a memorial, not a podium.
No matter what your issues are, this is in honor of the dead.
Show some respect and write your congressman. Don't take it out on dead soldiers.

Theres nothing wrong with being against war, and I can imagine that most people who have been to war; Is against war.

However, I do not aprove of anti-war protestors, and expecially not this!

This is a disgrace and an insult to those fine men who lost their lives, and their families!

Clinton's liberal as fuck! He doesn't count as a conservative administration!

We need to bring back HUAC and ship the liberals back to Russia.
