Hello, don't know if i've met you. I think we should stop calling it home education because it seems to suggest isolation. I don't know what we should call it, but the name is not helping. I know it seems a trivial point, but it needs to be called something which they can't mention in the same breath as their own tripe without making themselves sound absurd.

Right on! We need to shake the cage some more! I went to see my local MP recently, it seemed pretty positive that he would oppose the Badman review, I hope he does, H.E peeps in this area are doing a lot to fight it, I think a number from here are going to head up to London, can't remember what they're going to do but hopefully they'll get to talk to a few more MPs or at least get the message across some other way.

What I don't get is why the DCSF seem to want to find an excuse for spending money on a problem that doesn't exist. That money would be far better spent on REAL problems. They've come up with a load of (incorrect) statistics and nobody seems to care that it's all made up!

Good video, I'm glad RFW pointed this one out. Whilst conventionally educated myself I completely agree with parents (and childrens) rights to be home educated if they prefer. Good luck with this.
