Empowering a New Generation

Visualize the Genocide from a standpoint of pain.
Inflicted; war-wounded disdain.
Numbers don't lie;
fueled by hate; homicide;
have to hide; out of pride;
graves engraved.

Minds of tomorrow are shaped today.
Our future rises and rests within our grasp.
We look back, we see doom,
we look forward we see hope.

But hope for the children's sake
we have to take mentally in mind.
The solution to date
is reconciling the hate
through education entering lives.

Rwanda rises despite the doubters.
Like a watering hole to its faithful guest
Wellspring seeks to quench the thirst
for education, graduation
and a renewed sense of purpose.

And the wellsprings of life,
well they come from the giver of life.
Working together transforming,
laying foundations,
person by person, brick by brick,
the mission is forming.

Morality is our compass.
Culture is our strength.
Unity and Love is the catalyst for a brighter tomorrow.

For the sun will shine bright in anticipation,
imparting love as a cornerstone for Rwanda,
its children, their future, one nation.
Imagine that.
