We wrote and recorded a new song about rescuing a Chestnut Mare 39years after the BYRDS great song of the same name. 12 string guitar was used to colour the song just as Roger Mcguinn did in 1970. Thanks to Alex (guitar / vocals) Hamish (Drums) and Georgia (Keyboard). And a massive thankyou to Catrin for the production and her friendly horses. c swlow 2009. Available on CD 33 RPM Nirvana.

Really neat! You guys are very talented musicians. I love the Byrds style, and the song is so cool. I know it's going to be stuck in my head tonight. =) Great video!

I had to watch this twice! Thanks for turning me on to it. Sounds great! Is that your family playing the instruments with you? It's so cool you guys can have fun and make music together. Talent all around!

@Byrds1967 Cheers - I just one day thought to write that song - to take another slant on the chestnut mare thing. It is satisfying to play music with the kids. Actually they really love performing 'I'll feel a whole lot better.' We often play that. I enjoyed your version of that song. Very authentic. You've got that Byrds sound worked out. It's all about the jingle jangle 12 string and the 1-3 1-5 harmonies.
I love it.
