Fallout New Vegas - History of the Legion

For a friend.

Having long read the original design documents and back-story behind the original Van Buren/Fallout 3 Legion concept, I found Caesar's retelling of the Legion's History very insightful. While I'm a Fallout 1/2 purist at heart, New Vegas has shone itself to have merits of it's own. Though some of the references to the old Fallouts seem unnecessary and almost annoying.

I Hate How The NCR General Is Cowering In California While Caesar Is At The Fort Waiting For War

As cruel as he is, a lot of the things he says make sense. For example the way he explains that his society matches the challenges of the post apocalyptic world and that the NRC is just a repeat of the original, corrupt pre-war US that was doomed to fail. Hard to hate him once you take the time to understand what he's getting at.
